2018 Conference

2 days of celebrations, learning and networking which includes a 3 course meal and entertainment on the evening of the 5th September 2018.

With an opening address from our patron Lord Low of Dalston, contributions from Robert Buckland QC MP, Martin Simon (the founder of timebanking in the UK), Edgar Cahn (the founder of timebanking in the US), flagship time banks, Voluntary Arts England and many more. Plenty of opportunity for networking and sharing the fabulous diversity of the UK timebanking communities – this conference is one not to miss!


The days will include:

Reminiscing on how and why timebanking was introduced to the UK
Showcasing the longest running time banks


Having an opportunity to feed into topics such as:

Involving refugees and asylum seekers
Income generation
Managing difficult situations


There will be workshops on:
