Regional Meetings

Timebanking UK is keen to help sustain timebanks by helping to organise regional network meetings across the UK. See below for more information why you might want to join a regional network!

regionalmeeting1Meeting up as a network is proven to help sustain timebanking. It’s an opportunity to meet other brokers, share ideas & best practice, attend workshops & training, discuss issues and realise you are not alone! Check out the TBUK MEMBERS AREA for details about up & coming regional meetings & socials, for training notes, top tips & best practice & agendas & minutes from meetings.

Regional Meetings coming up:

North of England
Thursday 26th January 2017
10.00am – 3.00pm

Funding Workshop – Improve your Fundraising!
10.00am – 1.00pm

Given the financial pressures on the voluntary sector it is essential that Timebanks have a clear fundraising strategy and the skills to write bids. During this practical, engaging session, fundraising consultants Julie Farley and Tom Northey will help participants understand:

  • The types of funders out there and how to prioritise applications
  • How to create a clear and compelling application or ‘case for support’
  • How to present your Outcomes
  • How funders think, with practical tasks to help you avoid common mistakes.

The session will be led by independent fundraising consultants Tom Northey and Julie Farley, who have extensive experience developing fundraising strategies and securing grants from the lottery, trusts, foundations, local authorities and other sources.

Followed by a bring and share lunch and North network meeting.
