There is no ‘best’ way of running a timebank. Each one is different – they can be ‘plug-in’ timebanks that can help to incentivise particiption and volunteering, or ‘co-production’ timebanks that take longer to seed but are important mechanisms in changing the relationships that traditionally exist between citizen and state. It is important to think hard about what your timebank is for and what its core purpose is, before diving too deep into the detail.
