Together Timebank

The Watford Together Timebank is hosted by Watford CVS and is funded by Herts County Council. Our Timebank is for everyone who would like to be part of an active and vibrant community in Watford. We love to get involved in community events – for example by stewarding at charity fundraisers or assisting at charity events and community fairs and fetes.
We also like to assist and support each other in life. We lead and form groups like cardmaking, photography, poetry, mudpog – whatever people have to bring they can bring their skills to the Timebank and share these with others. We help each other with things like shopping, computing, befriending, languages like Spanish, French and English, gardening – recently we even built a wall!
We have regular socials where we get together, for example fortnightly we have afternoon tea where we share tea and cake. Sometimes we invite speakers to these events from local charities and health groups. Sometimes our members give talks too.
