How can I get involved?
There are several ways in which you can get involved with Timebanking UK.
1) Become a member
Unlock nearly two decades of timebanking know-how! Timebanking UK is the national umbrella organisation for timebanking across the UK, and becoming a member gives you access to a wealth of knowledge, support and guidance through our network of over 250 timebanks.
Membership also gives you free and unlimited access to our national timebanking exchange software, Time Online 2; access to training events across the UK; a chance to meet with other local timebankers through our regional network events; and invitations to social events and gatherings where you can share your experience and get tips from others on how to make a timebank work for you..
We have a range of membership packages, suitable for both individuals and organisations. You can find out more about membership here.
2) Take advantage of our expertise
A key aspect of our sustainability is supporting people and organisations to embed co-production and timebanking into their everyday work. We provide support with strategic planning and facilitate conversations between people wishing to adopt co-production methods and incorporate timebanking principles of reciprocity. Using Timebanking UK consultancy is a highly effective way to start to develop clear objectives, co-design a future, and plan ahead… so if your organisation is thinking about doing things differently, and would like to work through some options, get in touch.
3) Get some training
We run a wide range of training courses suitable for a variety of audiences. If you’re interested in timebanking and would like to find out whether it’s right for you, have a look at some of our training products and see if they can help. Whether you’re a commissioner of public services, a community activist, or simply someone who sees untapped potential in your own community or organisation, our team of expert facilitators can help you consider your next steps.
