Timebanking UK’s method of person to person timebanking with the asset based approach helps improve the skills and confidence of benefit claimants. Job Centres across the UK have been advised to signpost clients to the time banks of Timebanking UK as any timebanking hours can count towards job seeking hours.

 timebanking australia Australia’s NSW has the largest timebanking community in the world, with almost 6000 people exchanging hours of volunteering in return for receiving help they might need. Overseen by the NSW Government, time banking is active in 70 communities across the state.
