Since the COVID19 crisis started, Timebanking UK have been responding to a huge volume of queries from all over the country and beyond about how timebanking works: for individuals, for organisations, and for society as whole.

We’re presenting an online workshop on Thursday 2 July at 1pm that introduces timebanking to anyone who is new to it. We’ll go through topics such as how it works; why it’s not the same as volunteering; how it can benefit your organisation; and how to start a time bank.

Please register in advance by clicking this link, after which you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Time to Connect Gatherings

We are pleased to invite you to our Time to Connect Gatherings in January 2020 following the 3 year project with NDTi, supported by the Big Lottery. It would be great if you could make it!

Over the last 2 and a half years, Time to Connect has explored how to enable people with learning disabilities and older people living in care settings, to be part of their communities. Working with providers, this ground-breaking project has supported people to connect, make friendships and contribute to the communities and neighbourhoods around them, improving their quality of life.

Timebanking UK, in partnership with NDTi a number of time banks and support provider organisations have developed staff skills, created changes and ultimately, helped more people be active and connected. The timebanking concept has provided a structure of time exchange encouraging involvement and enabling people to give as well as receive support.
