How can I get involved?

There are several ways in which you can get involved with Timebanking UK and our work.

1) Become a member

As the national umbrella organisation for timebanking across the UK, becoming a member gives you access to a wealth of knowledge, support and guidance that exists through our network of over 250 timebanks. In addition, membership gives you free and unlimited access to our national timebanking exchange software Time-ON-Line, places at training events held across the UK, a chance to meet with other local timebankers through our regional network events, and invitations to social events and gatherings.

We have a range of membership packages, suitable for both individuals and organisations. You can find out more about membership here.

2) Consultancy

We think a key part to our future success is supporting people and organisations to embed coproduction and timebanking into their everyday work. We provide a lot of help with strategic thinking and planning and regularly help to facilitate dialogues and conversations between people wishing to start on the coproduction and timebanking path. Using Timebanking UK consultancy is a great way to start to develop clear objectives, co-design a future and plan ahead, so if your organisation is thinking about doing things differently, and would like to work through some options, get in touch.

3) Training

We run a wide range of training courses suitable different audiences. If you are interested in timebanking, would like to know more or aren’t sure if it is right for you, then have a look at some of our training products and see if they can help. Whether you are a commissioner of public services, a policy wonk or a community activist, our team of expert facilitators can help you consider your next steps.

4) Join a timebank

With over 250 timebanks across the UK now, there is never a timebank far away from you. You can use our ‘find your nearest‘ function to see the timebanks that are in your area, and how you can get in touch with them.

5) Join the mailing list

We send out periodical newsletters and updates. These cover the highlights from our blog, updates on our projects, and the latest news in timebanking directly to your inbox. To join the mailing list, simply enter your email address on our home page.
